PSMF Journal

So after dropping to around 214 (which could’ve been some serious dehydration*) I was still pounds away from my goal but I was sorta ecstatic! Then I went on a sodium binge and drove my weight up in a day or so. I knew it was water weight but psychologically it did something to me. I was dropping pounds but MAN-O-CHEVITZ it was slow.  I wondered was there SOMETHING I can do to speed up the weight loss.

I ran across some info on PSMF and It seemed like it was the obvious choice.

In all honesty I had done it for a few days here and there before, but didn’t know that it had a name. It was only because I read that you might want to shake up your ketogenic diet when it stalls with some straight protein. Little did I know it could be used for weeks at a time!

So if  you’re interested in doing PSMF, I’ll let you know how it worked for me.  You’ll have to consult your doctor and decide if its the right choice for you.

*Seems as if it wasn’t dehydration. Talked about it here
